We’ve had confirmation we can announce a super new series produced to air on YouTube. This has been worked on behind the scenes for sometime awaiting final finishing post lockdown is over and is a collaboration of some Chateaux from the show, it’s called “Chateau Rescue”.  It’s going to catch up with some people previously featured in ETTC DIY to see where they are now along with featuring new Chateaux around France, focusing on DIY, how these beautiful places become the home the owners dreamt and the reality of living in a Chateau compared to the dream.

I’m sure you, as we, have often wondered how chateaux owners whom we’ve seen in Series 1 (aired in 2018) have fared in the meantime.  A few were featured on the recent (and abbreviated Series 4 of Escape to the Chateau DIY which, due to current circumstances, is to be resumed later in the year) but there are some who only featured in Series 1 and have not been seen since.  Two not to be missed examples of this are:

Chateau de Brametourte

  • Chateau de Brametourte a breathtakingly beautiful, thousand year old Château in the Midi-Pyrénées (pictured above).  You must view the photos of their newly renovated Angel Bathroom as well as the private dining room pictured
