CLICK FOR THE INTERACTIVE MAP OF ESCAPE TO THE CHATEAU DIY

At the end of week two of Series 4 of Escape to the Château DIY we’ve already seen two new Châteaux which, in an effort to keep our readers current, we’ve already added to our Map along with details of the new featured Châteaux and the owners (Château Gioux and Chateau de Brives) you’ve now met.  Here’s the link to the updated Map.

On the Map you will notice that in each Region of France there are Red Pins and Black Pins.  In an effort to provide our readers with as much information – and choices – as possible when looking to book a Château holiday, or when searching for a wedding or special event venue, we’ve sourced (and continue to source) alternative venues from the thousands of glorious Châteaux for which France is famous.

So if you click on the Red Pins you will see the Escape to the Château DIY Châteaux  listed by Region [all linked to their details page]. If you click on the Black Pins you will be taken to a page where you will find a list categorized by Château Accommodation venues or by Château Wedding venues.

Alternatively visit our newest page “Escape to the OTHER Chateau DIY” which is entirely dedicated to the unsung heroes who have not been fortunate enough to be featured on Channel 4.   Many of these Châteaux have been operating as boutique hotels, wedding and corporate venues for many years. You will find some very tempting options here!  There’s one in particular Chateau Saint Georges Grasse (located in the perfume capital of Provence) which has been nicknamed “Le Petit Versailles”, click here and you will understand why.  By the way, don’t miss the link to the Image Gallery and the Video on this page!

Come back during Series 4 – we’ll continue to update so you don’t miss anything.  Enjoy and please share with your friends.
