A wedding venue like no other!  Castelnau Des Fieumarcon is a fortified stronghold which is over 800 years old and when you hold your special event there you and your guests take over the entire fortified village!  The venue was once a thriving medieval village which has been brought back to life by its current owner affording its guests a unique venue to celebrate special events surrounded by the people who are important to them.

Castelnau Des Fieumarcon sits in an elevated location offering spectacular views of the Gascon countryside.  Surrounded by antiques and art, guest accommodation is within 14 individual houses (the village even has its own map of where you’re staying!).  In addition, there are many gardens and terraces from which to enjoy the view, a banquet hall and an open air chateau.

Castelnau des Fieumarcon lies in the land of duck, foie gras, and Armagnac.  The staff work with the best local caterers who use seasonal, local produce and pair local wines with canapés.  There is also an onsite private chef (who has an award winning website) who will work with you to create bespoke menus to suit all styles and price considerations.

To be at Castelnau Des Fieumarcon is to be a part of history with origins tracing back to the 12th and 13th centuries.  The brother of Guillaume de Fieumarcon who died in 1231 was knighted by Richard the Lionheart.  Here’s a brief recap, for history buffs with lots more detail here!
