You recently met the charming owners of the 17th Century (built-in 1607) Château de Saugé on Series 3 of Escape to the Château DIY.  In 2020 the Château will become an Event Venue offering Chambre D’hôtes and a self-contained apartment that is currently ready to accept bookings!  The accommodations comprise:

The Royal Suite with separate lounge; the Woodland Family Suite with 2 bedrooms and private bathroom; The Highlander and Victoria Suites both double rooms.

Gite accommodation comprises a 1 bed Hunting Lodge which sleeps 4; a 2 bed Wood Lodge which sleeps 6 and 4 more gites within the Château Courtyard.  Plus as mentioned above the self-contained apartment which is now taking bookings.

The Chambre d’Hotes is now open with : Cedar Apartment (sleeps 4), Woodland Suite (sleeps 4) and Victoria Suite (sleeps 3) now available for rent!

The Château serves as an ideal venue for all kinds of celebrations, weddings, birthdays, corporate events or relaxing getaways.  In fact, the Château can be privately hired for any event.

The Vintage Tea Room opened for business on 1st November, Terrace and additional spaces are available for both public and private events.
