Château de La Rongere

The 11th-century Château de la Rongère is found in the countryside bordering Normandy and Brittany, 5 minutes drive from the village of La Croixille and just 15 minutes from the medieval town of Vitre.  The chateau sits in 23 acres of groomed gardens, an orchard, woodlands, a stream, an organic vegetable garden and a roserie.  There is a heated salt-water pool (10m x 4m) which is 100 metres from the house surrounded by a stone wall to ensure children’s safety.

As well as the Chateau there is a cottage which has its own large private garden and lawned area.  Cottage guests share the swimming pool with chateau guests.

The Chateau or Cottage or both (depending on size of party) offer an amazing venue for many private or corporate events:

Family parties such as anniversaries, family reunions, family dinners, birthday parties, golden weddings, etc

Corporate events such as dinners, retreats, workshops

Cynthia will spoil you with morning and afternoon Yoga, Vegan/Gluten-free meals, Massages and Mont St Michel!

The weekly schedule includes 2 yoga classes daily, one active and one restorative, beautifully prepared and plated gourmet vegan meals, guided meditation and an evening activity or day trip.  Each guest will receive 2 massages during the week and enjoy two guided tours – one of medieval Vitré and one of the world-famous Abbaye of Mont-St-Michel.

Enjoy the on-site pool, wander the grounds, paint, rest, jump on the trampoline or play ping-pong.  You will be treated with hand-made chocolate and wine pairing and a sound bowl healing journey at the end of the week.   Details or to book
