With over 2,000 vendors along a 5km stretch of forest road (wear comfortable walking shoes) between Saint Michel des Andaines and Bagnoles de l’Orne it will take you 2 days to see all that there is to offer! Bring cash, and your little pull along trolley so you can snap up all those wonderful bargains which you won’t be able to resist – and why should you? At the fair you’ll find vintage french artwork, crockery, antique furniture, vintage home decor, farm machinery and even architectural items salvaged from late 19th century homes!
When the fair first started 20 years ago it was an average vide greniers with about 50 vendors. Since then it has grown annually to become one of the largest and most important fairs in Normandy and the organizers make a huge effort to ensure the quality of the items to be found making it more than a second hand thrift shop experience. The volunteers who organize the event have a common passion for vintage goods from France and as well they love to showcase this beautiful area to bargain hunters.
