As you will already be aware, effective yesterday, and per France Government mandate, all public events are cancelled until further notice.

We sadly have posted this notice on our Events page of ChâteauxEscapesFrance with no idea when all the scheduled events will be rescheduled or indeed when the Chateaux seen on Escape to the Château DIY will again be able to open their doors to guests.  These are very uncertain and troubling times, the likes of which we have not seen in most of our lifetimes.

We have been in contact with a few of the Château owners and they will endeavour to keep their readers well informed – on a regular basis – on their individual Château Facebook pages

Please be sure to check with the venue where you have booked an event or accommodation as well as with your transport company which are all offering updates in the same way as this one on Brittany Ferries.

Brittany Ferries Last updated: 17 March 2020, 18:00
Today, 17/03/20, the UK Government has advised against non-essential travel abroad for an initial period of 30 days. This follows measures outlined in France on 16/03/20 restricting the movement of people to stem the spread of coronavirus and restrictions imposed by the Spanish government on 14/03/20 preventing all but essential travel to the country.
In light of these announcements and advice, Brittany Ferries is implementing further schedule changes designed to protect both passengers and crew. These are detailed on our sailings update page:

Please stay safe during these times and listen to the instructions you are being given by the experts.
